In compliance with federal law, Oaklawn must adhere to the CMS (Center for Medicare/Medicaid Services) COVID-19 vaccine mandate, which requires all employees, contracted employees, interns and volunteers to be vaccinated OR obtain a medical or religious exemption through Oaklawn. Prior to beginning employment, new staff will either provide documentation of at least the first dose in the vaccination series prior to their start date, followed by documentation of additional doses according to the manufacturer’s schedule, OR be approved for a medical or religious exemption by Oaklawn prior to their start date.
